We have been coming to Gettysburg for 9 years now. When we started staying IN Gettysburg we chose this hotel which was originally a Travelodge. The location is perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, the National Soldier's cemetery, even the square is only about a 10 minute walk. This was our first trip without our father who we lost in 2017. And we had mentioned that briefly in conversation when booking the rooms, and when we arrived, the staff had left a beautiful little vase of flowers in my mothers room. We thought that was incredibly thoughtful of them. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy. The patio rooms (at the back of the hotel on Steinwehr Ave are the best! Nice to just sit on the porch with a drink in hand in the evenings and watch the people go by) The complimentary breakfast is good. Lots of variety (cereal, English muffins, french toast, waffles, eggs, yogurt, fruit) and on the weekends they have sausage, biscuits and gravy. I don't mind the coffee but if you are picky, there is a nice coffee shop not even 5 minutes of a walk away. I could go on and on about this wonderful hotel. It has played a major part in our trips to Gettysburg. Thanks again to the wonderful staff for another amazing stay.

Nice accessible and comfortable rooms. This was our third stop on vacation and we enjoyed the comfortable beds. spacious room and friendly staff. They have an awesome coffee machine in the lobby and their simple American breakfast is my idea of a fancy breakfast. Waffles, eggs, sausage, potato, yogurt and more. Very clean! We stayed 2 nights. Just note that if you need laundry you will have to go to a laundromat. There is one just down the road. I would stay here again for sure.

After looking at various places to stay in Gettysburg, we decided this was the perfect spot for us.  We enjoyed a room that faced the main street with shops and had a great time sitting on the porch watching people pass by.  Room was clean, convenient, and the free breakfast was great with a big variety. It was a bit noisy with people above us, buy we expected that and was not too bad.
